Management of Change at Bangor University

At Bangor the University coordinates a central approach to centrally driven strategic change projects and programmes through the Planning and Governance office and its Strategic Change function. Strategic change at the University is led by the Head of Strategic Change, the Director of Planning & Governance, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and other Senior Officers who identify and implement a range of strategic change projects aimed at improving business systems and processes, delivering efficiency savings and enabling the University to achieve its strategic priorities for 2015 – 2020. The Office also delivers support to Schools, Colleges and Central Services in their change management projects, providing both tools and expertise as well project management skills to ensure change is delivered effectively. The office also links into other HE Institutions in Wales to share positive practice and identify opportunities for sharing knowledge, information and resources in the areas of change management, project management and efficiencies.
